I really like cottontail rabbits as food to start with. I usually "Southern Fry" them. But my wife absolutely hates them, so I don't hunt them much. I'd like to.

Hmmm. . .it would actually make more biological sense to take them from Canada. . . or Alaska, than a nearby population.
